Woo Woo Records turns 50 with Touchstones new album!
With today’s release of the Touchstones new album, Woo Woo Records has passed a bit of a milestone.
The album, Picking Up Loose Ends, contains the 50th track released on this label. Here are some more fun facts about my blossoming recording empire!
- The indy label has released some great songs across a surprising diversity of genres. From classic 60s & 70s vibes, to retro 80s and 90s guitar pop, but listen out for feel-good tunes ranging from ska to jazz, Ibiza chill to Euro electro!
- The actual 50th track released on this label is the song ‘Shoe’ a four movement odyssey that weaves through an emotional landscape from chill bliss through regret and loneliness to acceptance, rebirth and back to bliss – its the final track on Picking Up Loose Ends.
- The new Touchstones album has been a long time coming – about 30 years in fact! Check out the whole back story here
- The next EP is out next month, and will take us to 56 tracks!
